Brett Lindenberg is an American software entrepreneur based in Satellite Beach, Florida. He is the founder and CEO of Mindstamp, an interactive video platform for training, education, marketing, and sales. His other projects include Diamond Scheduler, a sports scheduling application, and TideTexts, a service that sends daily tide alerts by text message.

Lindenberg grew up on Florida’s east coast, where he played sports and surfed. He attended the University of Florida from 2011 to 2015, studied computer science, and completed a minor in mathematics. His early work included a software development internship at Amazon and a quality assurance internship at Grooveshark.

In August 2017, Lindenberg launched Aech, a social application that let users add annotations to videos. The project grew from his interest in sharing videos with friends while keeping a personal connection. Early feedback showed demand for similar tools in business. In January 2018, he began research into a video product for professional use. That work became Mindstamp.
—
Lindenberg started Mindstamp in a basement in Palo Alto, California. The software lets users add questions, clickable buttons, forms, and branching paths to existing videos. It records what each viewer watches and how they respond. Training teams use these records to check understanding and completion. Marketing and sales teams use the software to collect contact details and learn what interests a viewer.

Lindenberg also worked with Diamond Scheduler founder John Hall as the company moved its desktop software to the web. In a 2021 notice to customers, Hall announced that he would step back and Lindenberg would take over daily operations. Diamond Scheduler helps sports organizers plan games and tournaments around team, venue, and scheduling requirements. Diamond Scheduler was later sold in 2022 to Xenon Partners for an undisclosed sum.

Lindenberg has discussed his work in interviews about software development and interactive video. In February 2023, he appeared on Groundswell Startups’ Zero Clicks podcast to discuss building his team and using customer feedback to guide product development. In June 2024, Authority Magazine interviewed him about video creation and Mindstamp’s origins. That month, PYMNTS also quoted him in an article about using artificial intelligence to answer questions about video content.
